I'm 19 years old and finished highschool in 2022. Since then I'm in a Gap year and will start to study psychology in October. During this year I worked as a waitress and in child care, did some internships and volunteered abroad. On the 25th of Julie I'm gonna start traveling through Europe and want to end up in Croatia at the end of August to be part of another volunteering project.

I'm curious about different countries and cultures and want to see more of the world. But I believe that you can do that in the best way if you connect with local people. I enjoy to meet new people out of various backgrounds with different believes, interests, and ways of living. I hope that couch surfing can be a way of experiencing that.

兴趣

Since I come from a small town in the black forest, I love to spend time in the nature go hiking, swimming in lakes or do stand up paddling. One of my passions is also being creative with painting or crafting, I love to sew and while travelling I like to crochet. When I'm home I volunteer as gymnastic coach for kids which brings me a lot of joy. I love going to concerts and experiencing live music especially in the summer time. Of course I love traveling, getting to know new cultures and expand my horizon by meeting new people.

I enjoy to read fantasy novels like "name of the wind" but also classic literature and more scientific books.
My favorite tv series is definitely "the office" and a German series called "die Discounter" which catches up the humor.
I love listening to music and discover new styles also from other countries. Mostly I listen to German Indie Pop and rock. One of my favorite bands are "Giant rooks", "Kraftclub" and "Mayberg". Other than that I really enjoy classics from the 80s and 90s.

Volunteering for two month in Croatia which gave me a deep insight of the living in another culture and also helped me a lot to learn more about myself.

I like to learn by experiencing and exchanging experiences I like to share the skills and knowledge I have with others. Right know I'm trying to learn how to play guitar and I'm always curious if you can show or teach me something new for example your language.
