About Me

I'm a half creative and half systematic soul. Basically I'm an idealist, travelling lover and science nerd :D

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I signed up 'cause hosting with couchsurfing is a great way to meet new people and make friends all over the world, and being hosted is the best way to travel and get deep into new cultures. I'm not such a chatty person but I really like to listen people's stories, and if we get a good connection beyond my initial shyness, I can share the deepest sides of my personality and be a very good friend.
I've already hosted and been hosted several times during my voluntary service in Lithuania, before creating my official couchsurfing account, and all of those experiences were different and really interesting!

Interests

I have so many different interests that sometimes I'd like days to have 48 hours per day to deal with 'em all! I love to create and be involved in new projects, keep dynamic and discover new things. I'm a pretty curious person, and love to discuss with friends about different topics through different points of view.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music is my greatest passion. I sing rock, blues, soul, swing, jazz, rockabilly, Italian songwriter's songs... Just put together a guitar, a starry sky and a bunch of friends, and I have everything I need.
As for books and movies, I like them too. My favourite topics are science and nature (of course), environmental information, journalism, thriller, dramatic stories, interviews, music documentaries, cult... I hate superficial comedies, and I'm not a TV series addicted, except for few of them, as Scrubs, the Bing Bang Theory and How I Met Your Mother.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

8-month voluntary experience in a small village in the middle of a natural park in Lithuania.
Travelling around the Baltic states with 3 friends by car through all natural parks, deciding what to do, where to go, what to eat and where to sleep (in woods or cs) day by day. Enchanting landscapes, total freedom and very cool company!
3-week solo-interrail around Northeuropean capitals in December.

Teach, Learn, Share

In every situation there's something to learn, just be open minded :)
What I can "teach" - or maybe just talk about - is my beautiful but crazy country Italy, Italian language and habits (especially gestures!), ecology and sustainability. I can share my opinion on environmental issues, current news, politics, ideas, arts. I can share my experience and knowledge, music and voice, travel pictures, good mood and company, but also my discretion if you'd rather spend some time on your own. Let's take it easy :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

Italian cooking and culture, my personal story, ideas and opinions, a different point of view, a bit of singing and (I hope) a good company!
