∆ The only thing that is constant is change. *token inspirational quote*
I'm that yoga-Whole Foods-thrift shop-kinda girl. But also that nerdy programmer-I get all your memes-kinda girl (not a gamer, though). I try to stay active and love being outdoors, be it hiking or in the city. I like living a simple life without much stuff, became pretty good at living in the Now, and I'm torn between wanting to get to know soo many cities and wanting to build a more long-term home somewhere.
People say I'm the opposite of a stereotypical "girl" and very uncomplicated, which I both agree with. I prefer honesty over politeness, which is why I sometimes come across rougher than I mean to be; I can have calm and thoughtful moments, but also heat up a lot during controversial discussions, and enjoy good company just as much as being on my own.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Still kind of a newbie, but I already know that there's no better way to get to know a foreign place than to spend time with locals. You all know that. Plus, I just love meeting new people and I think with Couchsurfing you can get in touch with some of the most interesting personalities.

Music, Movies, and Books
Desperately awaiting the new season of Game Of Thrones, and thrilled that New Girl finally started again, although without Jess it's just not the same...
Latest discoveries: Imagine Dragons, Jet
Not a big reader at all anymore, but I still love libraries and used book stores, just for browsing or collecting some retro textbooks. Also, I'm looking for recommendations for good entry-level books on philosophy and politics. Got any?
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Losing my phone in Belgrade and getting it back again (in 2013), AND losing my wallet and getting it back again in L.A. last December. One of these days something really bad HAS to happen to balance that out.
Skinny-dipping at the Malecón in Havana. At 3am in the morning, drunk, with bad weather and not-so-small waves. Not the most intelligent thing I've ever done, but indeed amazing.

What I can tell you about: All things computer science, a little about typography/design/photography, a little about baking (bread, for instance), sailing.
What I'd like to know more about: Life, meditation and stuff, gardening/farming, any kind of "alternative" ways of life.. I'm very curious about other people's stories.
