Overview
About Me
I am a middle school teacher, and I work with children with disabilities. I am also a classical music teacher and teach clarinet in private music schools in my area. Additionally, I direct a small amateur music band that, with passion and dedication, has built from nothing a meaningful project with great social value.
I am a calm, sociable person and, above all, curious to always learn something new. For years, I have practiced meditation, and before that, I did Tai Chi Chuan. I don’t like noisy environments—I’m not the type to go to discos or clubs with loud music—but I enjoy evenings with friends over a good glass of wine or a nice cold beer. I would also say that good food is one of the things I love the most!
I am not a vegetarian; I eat everything and am always curious to try local recipes when I travel. I have a passion for photography, especially landscapes and nature, and when I explore new places, I try to capture the world through the lens of my camera.
When I was younger, I was quite fit and spent a lot of time hiking in the mountains. I may not have the same agility and endurance now, but I still enjoy mountain walks at my own pace.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love traveling, discovering new cultures, and experiencing the beauty of nature in the places I visit—most of all, I enjoy connecting with people. I joined Couchsurfing about 15 years ago and have wonderful memories of exchanges with amazing people that I will cherish forever! Now it's time to start traveling again like before!

Music, Movies, and Books
I love all classical music, but I also enjoy jazz and blues. I listen to commercial, pop, and rock music, though I’m not an expert. I don’t watch much television, and there are no films I feel particularly attached to. I enjoy reading non-fiction, travel stories, or fantasy books to relax
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My most incredible memories come from my travels and the amazing places I’ve seen. One of the most breathtaking destinations has definitely been Iceland! One of my biggest dreams is to take a gap year and backpack across South America!
Teach, Learn, Share
I am a curious person, always drawn to new experiences. I've always struggled with foreign languages, but I’m doing my best to learn English so I can communicate with people. I also understand some French and Spanish at a basic level and would love to practice them while traveling.
I have a passion for photography and have a good working knowledge of Photoshop.
As a classical musician, I don’t usually travel with my clarinet, but if I had the chance to play in a band, I’d be more than happy to join!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share my knowledge of classical music, help with learning Italian, and provide photos upon request. I'm also happy to assist with housework, gardening, and taking care of animals
