Hi!
I'm Elisa, I'm 24 years old and I live in Aosta Valley, a small region in the North West of Italy. I love traveling and meeting new people. I enjoy doing many sports, in particular I love skiing - as I am a ski instructor. I like hiking, trekking and climbing. I study Management Engeneering in Turin, at the Politecnico. I also worked as a Computer Science professor in different high schools in Aosta Valley.

I've already been on Couchsurfing, during an amazing travel to the US. Unfortunately I didn't use my Couchsurfing account, cause I was with one my best friend and we used hers!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing because I like traveling and I think that this is the perfect way to visit a new place with a local perspective, learning new cultures and seeing things with a different point of view!

Interests

I've always been interested in sports. I tried many of them, such as basketball, football, rugby, mini-golf, swimming, climbing, hiking, snowboarding, volleyball and especially skiing.

I like reading, especially fantasy books and crime ones.

Of course I like to travel and I do want to see and visit as many countries I can!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music - I listen to any kind of music. I have my playlist full of tracks that I always take with me, without a particular music genre. I'm always looking for new songs and soundtracks.

Movies - action, adventure, fantasy, sci-fi, thriller, comedies, romantic comedies and horror (but only if I'm not on my own!!).

Books - adventure, fantasy, crime.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I like adventure and risk. I like climbing and hiking. I went camping in the middle of Death Valley (124 F), kayaking along San Diego coast, but the most incredible thing I've ever done it may be heliski: the way up to the mountain by helicopter and then down with only my skis! Powder snow everywhere and a breathtaking panorama - absolutely amazing!!

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach - I can suggest you some places where I have been to, give you pros and cons of them, and as I'm pretty good at cooking I may teach you some delicious Italian recipes!

Learn - I'd like to learn and understand the habits and traditions of as many different cultures in the world as I can.

Share - I can share with you some interesting moments from my life and you could share your experiences as well!
