About Me
Hi there, I am a music teacher that has become a student again after an astonishing trip to Japan :) I live with my husband and a cat (but there are many cats living outside) in the countryside and I have been hosting on Hospitality Club for 15 years :) My husband and I are quite the nerdy kind of people: larpers, compulsive readers, cinema-animation-anime lovers... but we do like learning about new stuff!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have been a member of Hospitality Club for long time, so why don't try here too? I have never been surfcouching but being a host has been great. I'd like to plan a sort of "music research" journey on Ryukyu Islands for this autumn and I'd like to meet some people who can tell me first hand how it is to live and play there.

Music, Movies, and Books
(Hard to say what's my favourite music, I find every genre has something to teach me :D)
Elektro swing, jazz, noise, traditional music from everywhere, classical, rock, metal, brit pop, Italian progressive rock...
Agatha Christie, Rex Stout, A.A. Fair, Daniel Pennac, Neil Gaiman and many many others
Quentin Tarantino, Kitano Takeshi, Guillermo del Toro, Joss Whedon...
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm trying to improve my really, really, really poor Japanese and take any chance to practice the languages I know. Everytime I travel somewhere, I try to learn more about cooking traditions there.
I can teach to cook Italian recipes and talk as enthusiastically about music and arts :D
What I Can Share with Hosts
I almost always travel with my life companion, who mostly shares my interests and has the same passion about travelling. We both don't smoke and, I think, we behave decently when guests of other people. We both are fond of discovering food we haven't tasted yet, walk a lot, take our time while exploring cities and nature, talk to new people who share our passions, or like to talk about theirs, so we learn new things :)
I am a decent cook, so I am delighted when asked to prepare Italian typical (or non-typical) food.
