About Me

Hello, my name is Elisa, I'm 26 years old and I'm from Florence (Italy). Before moving to the US I used to work as a preschool teacher and I hold a degree in Early childhood education and care.
I have two sisters, 3 cats, a dog and 2 tortoises. I really love pets, at home we've always had at least a cat. I'm creative, respectful, polite and organized.
I think I'm also a practical and rational girl. I describe myself as a dynamic person, in fact my passion is to play sports and I've been swimming for years at a competition level. I've recently started practicing yoga and I really like it. I love nature and outdoor walks, but I'm also attracted to life in big cities. I'm currently living in Southern California where I'm working as an au pair. I live and work for a host family, taking care of a 20 months old kid named Parker, that's why I cannot host anybody, but I can hangout with you if you're around. I enjoy meeting new people and having a cultural exchange, that's the main reason I'm here on Couchsurfing. I've decided to leave my country to learn English and living in an international setting. Los Angeles is a real melting pot, I've fallen for this city and I'm so grateful to live in this area. This is not the first time I'm living abroad, cause while I was in college I've studied in France for a semester, that's the reason I'm able to speak French
