We are an English couple, Elisa (25) and Jack (28). We come from Norfolk, England and travelled Asia for 8 months (although a Euro trip will be planned in the future too).
We would love to meet new people all over the world!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We travelled for 8 months, met the best people, had the best time! We want to give the same experience back to people coming our way now.
Also we really want to meet awesome people; we've heard sometimes travelling can be lonely unless you get out there and find similar people.

Interests

Elisa:
I love reading, learning about different cultures and languages. I love cats and animals in general. I love being in new places; I don't like to stay in the same place for too long!

Jack:
I like to think that I am a people person, I like to hear stories and anecdotes. I really enjoy television and movie trivia, karaoke and seeing new things. What I love more than anything is travelling with my wife.

Elisa:
I enjoy most music; I'm quite eclectic and you can usually find me tapping my foot from anything from industrial metal to indie to folk!
Reading is something I very much enjoy. I love Stephen King, Patrick Rothfuss, David Mitchell, James Frey, Nathan Filer - and many others.
Everybody loves a good film :) I especially like rom-coms, because I'm a saddo!

Jack:
I'll listen to most music genres. If I can sing along I will and if I can bob my head to it I do.
I'm not a big reader really although I absolutely love Marvel Comics.
I am a big movie lover. My favourite films are: Oldboy, Up, Men In Black, Iron Man, The Wrestler, Hot Fuzz, Pulp Fiction, Fight Club, Alien, Terminator 2, Hector and the Search For Happiness, Paul, The Dark Knight, Flashpoint (starring Donnie Yen), Ip Man and al of the old Bruce Lee movies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Elisa:
Skydiving was such a fun experience! Despite it making me feel ill on the landing, I experienced phenomenal views over Norfolk, my adrenaline was pumping and I raised £700 for the British Heart Foundation too.

Jack:
I have ridden 50 miles up a mountain to a hot spring bath in Malang. We try to make a new amazing memory in every country we go to.
In my job I help people with learning difficulties to learn independence.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Elisa:
I know every bone in the human body? :D
I'm really fun, love meeting people and am full of odd little facts.
I can cook a mean dinner, in most cuisines! I love learning how to cook different things and can make a fabulous meal out of very few ingredients.

Jack:
I'm a good cook, extremely fun and personable, and can make any awkward situation comfortable for all involved in a matter of minutes. I'm a great listener and have a geeky knowledge of (pretty much) the entire history of wrestling, if you're into that :P I also know a few things about movies, anime, MMA and comic books.
