About Me
Hello everyone!
I'm Elisa, looking forward to meeting you!
I just arrived in Dublin for a 6-month internship in translation. I can't wait to discover the country.
Any nice hiking trail we could walk together? A local food you'd like me to taste? How about going on a Pokémon hunt? Get in touch! I'm mostly free on weekends and always happy to make new friends.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I joined CS while I was in Japan because I wanted help to discover a country and a culture I knew nothing about. In one year I've met many hosts and friends, and I'm very thankful. Until I have a place on my own to give back everything I've received, I'd be happy to keep on meeting nice people.
Interests
I love foreign languages. I really want to learn more, and I'm very curious about different cultures too. Apart from that I like reading, nature and discovering new and surprising things!

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to various kinds of music, but I mainly like 60's and 70's rock, Indie rock, French music. Always glad to discover new songs though!
I love to read. These last years I've been into science-fiction a lot. And I'm a big, big fan of comics, manga, BD!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I can cook very good quiches. I mean, really very good ones!
Also I've been backpacking by myself one month through Honshu, the main island of Japan. That's a trip I will never forget. Ask me if you want to know about it!
Teach, Learn, Share
How about languages? French, Japanese or Italian? I can also teach you a magic knot for your shoe laces that will never untie!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can cook and I'll be more than glad to give you a hand with the chores. And be sure I'll never pop up empty-handed!
