Hello! I’m Elisa Sandino. I’m from Spain, though I’ve been living in the state of Virginia (USA) for almost a year now. I came here to work as an aupair, and it’s been a total new experience for me living with an other family and taking care of their children. Of course, you make very strong bounds and I’ll be forever grateful for their trust. I grew up in the city of Gandia, it’s a beach town/ city in the Mediterranean coast and it’s a great place for spending your childhood. Since I was 8 years old I’ve been doing theatre and it’s my true passion. My goal is to move to Madrid when I go back to Spain and peruse acting as a career. I’ve studied Social work in the univiersity of Valencia and also lived in Barcelona for a year before that, I did a year of Political Science in the UPF. I’m new to coachsurfing. The reason I signed up is because in February I’ll be making on my dreams true... visiting NYC and a friend from Bcn will be meeting me there and we both agreed that we wanted to coach surf as we’ll be in the city for the first time and we want to make the most of the experience. I’m absolutely happy to coachsurfing once I get back to Spain and being a host, most rather in Madrid.

Music, Movies, and Books

Favorite movie, I always say “the graduate”. Dusting Hoffman’s perfonce really hit me when I saw it for the first time. Also really liked “Moster” with Charlize Theron.

Favourite music: “pereza” is a Spanish pop:rock band and red hot chili peppers, Lana del Rey.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Flew from Nice to Italy because of love. It totally didn’t work out but it’s a pretty good story
