Hi there!

My name is Elisa, I was born and raised in Frankfurt, Germany but living in Osaka, Japan at the moment.
I'm a very outgoing person, love to get to know new people and having a great time, either with outdoor activities or dancing all night long!
I love doing ANY kind of sports, and honestly thing that during my lifetime I already tried most of it but am still exploring those kinds of sports I haven't tried (yet).
Enjoying good food with my friends is one of my favourite activities! I think food connects people, cooking and sharing a good meal doesn't only bring people together but whole cultures.

I'm on couch surfing because I love travelling!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: My repertoire ranges from singer songwriter music (Jack Johnson, Ben Harper,...) to melancholic music (James Blake, Fever Ray,...), to quirky J-Pop music (Wednesday Campanella, Remigai), Hip Hop (Hocus Pocus, Beasty Boys,...) and it goes on and on.

Movies: Quentin Tarantino, Kubrik, Hitchcock, Wes Anderson... All the great directors! But also Series like Breaking Bad are things I could watch over and over again.

Books: Ryu Murakamis, dark but funny writing is my favourite thing to stick my nose into. (In sa miso soup, coin locker babies, summer of 69...). Another favourite is Phillip Pullmans trilogy The Golden Compass! (It's the first and only book I cried while reading...)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Going and living in Japan for a year was a big step for me.

Teach, Learn, Share

I teach children on a regular basis to make animated, stop-motion-movies.
I Would love to learn surfing!
And I'm always sharing my meals.
