About Me

I am half Italian/half Finnish, but was born in Paris and have always lived there. I speak French & English, and also Spanish & Finnish but with a more limited vocabulary !
I'm a tourism and also English/Spanish translation & interpretation graduate. I love to practice foreign languages, learn about other cultures (especially everything that is related to Latin America), and meet new people.
Like everyone on Couchsurfing, I love to travel and there are so many places I haven't visited yet.
Also, one of the most important things for me is animal welfare so I would love to dedicate time for this later, for example by volunteering in an animal shelter. :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It's always a pleasure to meet people from all over the world while travelling, or even when I'm in Paris. I like to show the city to tourists, and also do not hesitate to contact me if you just need some ideas on what to visit here ! Unfortunately, I don't have enough space to host people.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love the movies of Woody Allen (Midnight in Paris might be my favourite, I kind of relate to the main character) and of Cédric Klapisch also, they have a very particular and pleasant styles. I also love these two movies related to Latin America : Diarios de motocicleta and Che (Soderbergh).

I do not have favourite books, there are thousands of books that were great to read. Pauline (Dumas), L'empire des anges (Werber), books by Matthieu Ricard, books about historic figures and history, etc.

Same with music, I do not have any favourite but I like music from Latin America like Carlos Puebla or Silvio Rodriguez.
