About Me
CURRENT MISSION
live in beauty, harmony and respect
ABOUT ME
I am a lively person, sociable and curious. I am a celtic harp player, mother of a daughter, italian living in Brittany. I have two cats, I am vegetarian. I like dress-making with recycled materials, ecology, spirituality.
As a host, I'll love to show you around : my specialties are ruins, ancient sites, lonesome atmospheres, natural environments and historical buildings... My home is a bit of all this. I have a very busy life but I like receiving and have an excuse to slow down :) I like to have easy going people around, open and independent.
As a traveler, I might be as busy visiting everything possible if it's a new place, or being on a break in mid tour of concerts, but I am always open to the unexpected when possible, to share evenings and to chill out.
PHILOSOPHY
Love Mother Earth and her Children, and they will love you.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
When possible (when I have a home), I like having guests, cook together, listen to their stories, and show them around (I was a tourguide) . When I travel, I like to have someone with whom to have a nice chat in the evening after my solitary roaming, receive suggestions about what to do when I am in their country. And I like to exchange abilities, to be helpful and to be helped if needed.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I travelled very little so far, and I liked the experience I had with my hosts, all of them they were kind, lively and communicative, sometimes we went out together to concerts or museums, had some unexpected adventures...
I hosted many people in Venice when I lived there and I had an apartment all for myself. I liked every single experience, I liked having company for the evenings, eating together, listening to their stories or showing around when possible.
Interests
The only way to make me feel bored is taking me to a shopping center or to a discotheque! I like old bookshops and museums, folk music and dances, flea markets and swap parties, woods and wilderness, festivals and quiet evenings by the fireside. The apparent silence and beauty of nature... I am not for mainstream attractions and crowds, but apart from that I think I am an open person with many interests and ready to discover new ones.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
so many...
Finding a magical spring of hot water in Petriolo, Tuscany, and swimming in the ink-black night.
Teaching latin on horseback in the English countryside.
A vocal improvisation in a yurta in Venice with unknown people... and many others.
beng hosted in a castle and receiving ancient bells as a present :-)
Teach, Learn, Share
I offer the things I know with pleasure, (languages, music, history, sewing or whatever...) And I am very curious about what I don't know! I would like to learn a little of Irish and some vegetarian recipies, gardening, stories and legends of the countries I visit...
What I Can Share with Hosts
Simple moments, as they come. If time allows more, I'll be happy to teach you some expressions in Italian/French/English, a song or a recipe according to your interests!
