Overview
About Me
Cosmopolite literary translator who used to be an art gallerist, and also an unumployed (it is a lot of work too).
Discreet but present.
Generous and inventive cook (and I still like to learn about food and cooking).
Loves housing and manual work.
Observer.
Hitchhiker and still quite nomadic (and fine with it).
Generation X (not Y, clearly): I am techno-incompentent (and fine with it too, says the girl who yet knows, at least, how to use the Couchsurfing app - I am flexibly incompetent).
What I enjoy the most (if I must do a strict synthesis) : a sense of humor. People able to spread, as well as to recieve itching powder, without taking umbrage.
My introvert side often enjoys to celebrate when I cancel plans I got involved in while my extravert side was in charge ;).
And my extravert side often makes very sociable moves my introvert side then joyfully contemplates.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To answer such questions with positively intercultural reflexions haha ;), I'm kiding.
But well, yes, in a way : I go abroad for people too. And have a lot of pleasure going ahead with no precise idea of whats going to unfold. The unkown is charming and rich. I regularly take some piece of it. I like to open my doors too. I often have time to do so, and space.
I admit it's my first use after a decade (when I was 20, I used CS both ways).
Interests
To sum up : I equaly enjoy abstract and manual /more "enacted" activities. I look for a balance between the two.
