ABOUT ME

I'm a communication design student from Portugal! I've been studying design for the past three years in Porto and even though I'm from Braga, Porto feels like my city. I love to travel and I've had the luck to travel a lot around the world so I joined this because I thought it would be a funny way to travel through Europe, considering I've only started to travel in Europe this last year.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My "journey" in couchsurfing is quite short - i only began one year ago, when i went to France to study for a semester, and i only surfed! Now I'm back from Porto and after Erasmus and some funny couchsurfing experiences I would love to start hosting in Porto!

Interests

I'm studying design right now. Audiovisuals are my biggest passion though. I'm a big fan of cinema, and I really like photography too. I studied one month on Porto's Superior School of Music and Show Arts, studying Cinema and Photography, before I changed to Graphic Design. I'll try to go back to that field someday though. I love music too and going to gigs and little concerts. I really enjoy discovering little bands and little gigs on local bars.
I'm also really into bicycles! In this last year I've been riding a mountain bike and doing some MTB circuits with my father, who is a avid MTB rider! I have to admit that I am really bad at it, I get tired really fast but I love it! I also love riding a bicycle in the city. In Portugal I don't have much chance to do so, the citys are not prepared, but still, I really like it. I also love to drive, do some roadtrips, going into the mountains and camping. Winter or Summer, outdoor activities are always incredible.

Music, Movies, and Books

Bob Dylan is my favourite artist/musician... But i listen to a lot of things, depending on the time of the year, day, mood, everything. Between Kings of Convenience, Baroness, The Weeknd, Beach House, Manu Chao, Concha Buika, Foals and a lot of things that don't come to my mind in this exact moment, i love discovering new bands or musicians.

David Lynch, Inarritu, Lars Von Trier, Godard, a million others...

Jack London is probably mu favourite writer. Right now I'm very into Milan Kundera too, but I'm only starting to discover it.
