CURRENT MISSION

I am portuguese, 40 years old, I am a professional photographer working in social and humanitarian photo documentaries. I've been working as a volunteer at the refugee camp in Calais for a while and I've decided to go on this trip to help and photograph about the situation of the refugees in Europe for the next 2 months.
I travel a lot and I've stayed and hosted many times friends, friends of friends and couch surfers but I am quite new using my couch surfing profile.
I am not accepting guests cause I am traveling in Europe at the moment

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I travel I like to connect with locals, learn about the cultures and exchange experiences. I use to say I am not a tourist I am a traveler.

I've booked an one way ticket to Brazil without knowing no one and I stayed for 3 years.
I made a book from my favorite trip to Nepal
I volunteer at the jungle of Calais.
At the moment I am doing a road trip thought the refugee camps in Europe
