About Me
Hi everybody!
I´m currently living as an Au pair at my hostfamily´s in Westchester, NY. After graduating High School back home I thought time has come to explore different countries, cultures and places. So I decided on leaving Austria in order to take a gap year here in America. Of course learning the language was one important reason for doing it but moreover during my stay here I already gained some wonderful friends and could experience moments of happiness with them which now seems to be the even bigger benefit of spending a year abroad.
I can´t wait for upcoming adventures or rather for becoming acquainted with lots of exciting places all over the world and making new friends there.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Besides the fact that being a 20 year old spending a year abroad does not necessarily provides you with financial wealth which might be needed when it comes to travelling, I would say what´s really attracting me about Couchsurfing is this new unconventional way to get to know interesting people all over the world who can help you exploring cities and places from a perspective you would have never got the chance to.
Interests
- cooking
- traveling
- culture exchange
Music, Movies, and Books
I am pretty much into smooth, chilled electronic music and hip hop but actually I also like stuff of every kind.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Amazingness can be experienced everyday through paying attention to the little things another person is doing to your advantage. Therefore trying to CONSTANTLY do something small is actually amazing - just be it everyday!
What I Can Share with Hosts
A good time, lots of laughter as well as a bunch of funny experiences I´ve already made. And of course I could teach you some typical Austrian cooking skills like how to make a "Wiener Schnitzel" and many more ...
Countries I’ve Lived In
Austria, Spain, United States
