I'm a 23-year-old who just graduated college in Cincinnati, OH. I'm passionate about startups, coffee, photography, and I could talk music with you for hours. I love hanging out at coffee shops and bars, listening to live music, dancing, and going to yoga classes when possible. I do a decent amount of solo travel, and have honestly come to prefer it since I've met some amazing people as a result.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've taken a lot of solo trips the past few years and they've been some of my favorite memories because of the people I've met through Couchsurfing. I love getting to know new people and hear about their life experiences and have made some of my closest friends through this site.

A few of my favorite genres include: indie pop, alternative, singer/songwriter, rap/hip-hop.

Some of the artists I'm currently listening to: Jon Bellion, Logic, Chance the Rapper, Kanye West (yes, still. his old stuff is amazing), Kendrick Lamar, SZA, Bastille, MisterWives, Bon Iver, Leon Bridges, Oh Wonder, LANY, Hozier, Kaleo, BORNS, John Mayer, The 1975, Mumford and Sons. (you get the point, the list goes on. Tell me your favorite artist--I've probably listened to them and if not I'd love to hear them).

I've been reading a lot more recently, some of my favorite books are: Wild, At Home In The World, Outliers, and We Were Like Sons.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I started freelancing web and app development! That's what I hope to do for a living eventually, so it's huge for me that I've already started doing so.

I hiked to the bottom of the Grand Canyon and back in 1 day--18 miles that I'll never forget!

I took a solo trip to Spain (my first time out of the country) and another solo trip to Hawaii. I'm really proud of myself for taking the leap and loving solo travel.

I ran a half marathon once, and I'm pretty proud of that.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Company and great conversation. I love meeting and talking with new people. I think each person has a unique story that deserves to be listened to. I can learn something valuable from every person I come in contact with, as they have different perspectives than I do. I hope to share my story with you and hear your story as well.
