About Me

Born and raised in Berlin, I decided to move away to learn more about the world and myself.
I studied in a tiny university city in Germany (Göttingen), where things roll completely differently than in large Berlin - a new social world so to say. I studied hard, but never lost contact to things I love: Music and arts, sports, cooking, organising mingling-events, socialising and going out for long nights of dancing and roving, making everyone drinks, hosting feasts and taking a break from the world going for hiking trips or to (electronic music) festivals.
I moved to Tel Aviv, Israel, to work on a research project for 1 1/2 years. It was the place I went through my highest highs and my lowest lows and I appreciate that time infinitely.
Now, I've returned to Berlin and am currently applying for PhDs in the spheres of molecular Neuroscience - unravellign the mysteries about synapses in our brains.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Introduction:
During my life and especially during the time I spent in Israel, I really learnt that the people I surround myself with are, what makes my personal experiences great - or not so great.
I am an incredibly social person, open, extroverted and I love to share adventures I go on.
Meeting and connecting with people comes in naturally for me. I take a lot from short-term and even random encounters, they make me think and thrive.

Couch surfing:
I love to host people, I love to meet people and to go roving. I know what it is like to be short on money, but not wanting to cut short on the enterprising side of oneself.
Also, I simply love to explore appartments of strangers. Dunno why, but I take a lot from it - it teaches me new views on different lifestyles.

I think all the above should illustrate quite well, why couch surfing suits me. (:
