Hello everyone!

We are Elli and Johannes. In July 2021 we hosted our first guests and it was just an amazing experience which has led to a spontaneous trip to Norway with one of them. Spending these five intense weeks together we've become very good friends.
Now we are excited to meet people from all over the world, make some new friends or just have good conversations exchanging our stories and experiences.
Johannes just finished studying physics. Elli was working as a primary teacher, before she left Europe with Johannes to explore South America.

So far, we have been to Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama and Colombia. Now we are on our way to explore South America going north from Tierra Del Fuego. We would love to get in contact with the people living here, and learn a lot about the live here, or just have fun exchanging and trying cooking recipes 😊. Also we are learning Spanish, with Elli having and advanced level and Johannes being a beginner.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I just wanted to experience something new. Well, my first experience with two wonderful travelers we hosted for more than a week exceeded every single expectation. So I hope it was just the beginning of a wonderful new hobby.
