I think what most of the peole on Couchsurfing have in common is that they are open minded and interested in getting to know new people from elsewhere, hear about their stories, their jokes, their experiences, their music, ... we don't want to be stuck in our daily life, I guess, as long as we know there are so many people and stories out there.
