Why I’m on Couchsurfing

At times, I need to experience something new. When I studied abroad a few years ago in the south of France, every day was an adventure, and I grew to love it deeply and with everything that I am. I moved back home and continued the routine life, and became depressed and unexcited. In the summer of 2015, I realized I needed to re-find the person that I love, who accepted challenges and defeated her demons and explored the world and stayed out all night and people watched with her friends while eating paninis. That individual was lost and found all at once, and I find that incredibly appealing.

Music, Movies, and Books

Harry Potter, Game of Thrones, James Bond, a good psychological thriller (books and movies), biographies about political figures, classical music or alternative or jazz or rap. Most importantly, I like listening and reading and watching the favorites of others. Its the most open form of sharing ones true self, because when you recommend your favorite book, you're showing another person who you are in your truest form.
