ABOUT ME

Hi ! I'm Elisabeth and I'm going to travel few months before coming back to France for a new life. I will first spend 2 months in Japan with my friend Candice.

Elisabeth : I'm 27, german, living and working in France, in Business Intelligence (which is some IT stuff) in France.
I quit my job in order to start something new, but I still didnt know what ! haha
It is hard to talk about oneself : I'm kind and very interested in other cultures, expecially japanese culture. I learned japanese and I lived 6 months in Okinawa 6 years ago (I did an internship there), it was so interesting that I wanted to go back to Japan ^^ so I did it ^^ I was in Tokyo 4 years ago and in Kansai 2 years ago with my friend Candice. Now, I will travel through Kyushu and Okinawa (again ^^ I fall in love in to this Island) Hope to see you soon !

Candice : I'm 27 and I'm polish. After having studying polish and having a first experience in eco-tourism, I will start new studies in this field, because that intersted me very much. I traveled twice in Japan, with my friend Elisabeth, in Tokyo and Kansai. She told me à lot about Okinawa and I dream to go there, but before, let's discover Kyushu ! 👌🏻

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We had CS experience together in Kyoto, Osaka and Tokyo and I (Elisabeth) had also already in Okinawa, Kobe and in Munich (Germany)! It was great and I keep good memories from these experiences, I could meet so much different people, and this is very interesting to discover the local life

Interests

I like japanese culture, my family, dogs, chocolate, cheese... ^^
My hobbies when I'm in France is mostly sport, seeing friends, seeing my family, going to cinema, playing board games, watch TV and eat..
When I'm in holiday, my activities are very different, I want to see everything, visit everything, go everywhere, eat everything... I'm interested in quite everything (except museum 😂) and I like to meet local people to do some things I would never have done otherwise, because such things are not written in the travel guide we buy

Favorite book : the little prince
I love all the movies from Hayao Miyazaki : Princesse Mononoké, Nausicaä de la vallée du vent, Le château ambulant...
I love the movies from Tim Burton : L'étrange noël de Mr Jack, Big Fish, Edouart aux mains d'argent..
I love the disney ^^ Aladdin, Le Roi Lion, Mulan..
I like a lot of french movies too but it is useless that I say that, nobody knows..
I like a large range of music : reggae, jazz, pop, afro and oriental music, rock... but not hardrock and metal..

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was in a restaurant totally in the dark (no ligth at all !) and it was really interesting to feel like a blind person and to have these new feelings, and discover people around, in dark.
