CURRENT MISSION

My current mission is to discover America. I want to visit as many places as possible and I'm looking forward to meet super nice people during my journey.

ABOUT ME

I would consider myself as a sporty, open minded person who loves being around other people. In my free time I play badminton, go running, and travel over the place.
I grew up in Germany, finished high school, and went for 9 months to England. I enjoyed my stay so much that I decided to come to America for another 13 months. I stayed as an Au Pair for 12 month close to D.C. before I travelled with three friends along the West Coast and Hawaii for another month. We saw the most beautiful places and met the nicest ppl. Best trip ever!!

PHILOSOPHY

Travel as much as you can. As far as you can. As long as you can. - life is not meant to be lived in one place.
I want to take advantage of the time I have to see the world, to meet amazing people, and to enjoy every second of my life. Everyone has a bucket list and I try to check off another desire as soon as I can.

Couchsurfing is fantastic! So far I met the most amazing people who also became my friends. It's a great opportunity to stay for some nights, get to meet new people, and exchange stories about travelling. I love it!!

Intereses

I'm interested in badminton, running (I ran my first half marathon in May 2014 :), swimming, hiking, skiing, water skiing, inline skating, sports in general, spending time with my friends, photography and of course traveling.

The best thing I've done is to come to America. I've experienced the most fantastic things so far; I've seen Niagara Falls, went into the White House, celebrated New Years Eve at Times Square, ran my first Half Marathon, went sky diving and travelled along the West Coast (San Francisco, Yosemite NP, Death Valley, Las Vegas, LA, San Diego, Hawaii)
