Hello!

I'm currently a student studying abroad in Nantes, France. I am hoping to do some traveling around and see some of the world while I am here! I am currently learning as much French as I can, but I love learning about other cultures and languages.

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy is to learn as much as I can from the opportunities given to me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I really hope to do some surfing while I am in Europe, and back home I hope to offer up a couch someday! Currently I am staying with a host family in Nantes, but if anyone is passing through I would love to grab coffee with them or something.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

No experience as of yet (other than crashing on the couches of people I know). Hope to get more as time goes on!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Voting in the presidential election for Obama was really cool. Watching him being inaugurated really gave me faith that things can change.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm learning a lot about what WWII meant to Europe. It's much more personal than I ever imagined it could be seeing the places where bombs dropped and people died. I wasn't expecting that.
