HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Someday I hope to be a surfer, but for now I've got a place to host or am just here to hang out if you want to see Rwanda. Granted I'm pretty remote so if you REALLY want to get off the beaten track in Rwanda, I'm your gal. Those who've made the trek so far have always found something to enjoy in my mountain-top village.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've met some wonderful people through couchsurfer. Shared good food and even better stories. Made some *hopefully* lifelong friends :)
I've learned that food is the basis for good relationship-building!

Want to know about the role of language in education? I can talk about that...as well as what it is like working in a country that is currently changing its medium of instruction. In fact, I can talk about most education-related topics all day long.

But if that bores you, I can also talk about books, trees, guinea pigs, science fiction, politics, dealing with pesky chickens, living in large families, traveling, religion, fruits & veggies, writing, the ups & downs of life, mentoring, broadway shows, rowing, and food. I like food.
