About Me

- I'M NOT LIVING IN CADIZ ANYMORE -
I’m Elisa and I’m 28 and I would describe myself as a easy going, positive and friendly person, always ready to listen to the stories and experiences of everybody, trying to learn from them.
I’m very curious person and fascinated by almost everything, I like nature and animals, but also cities, people and especially parties. I alternate moments of quiet and leisure to moments in which I feel a quake inside. I love the rainy days, those where you read a book under the blankets, but I also love the sunny days, the smiles of people, blushing in the evening at the sunset.
I can hardly say “no” to things, I’m willing to try anything, I never think much about the consequences, but I believe that it's a good point because, in same way, it makes me feel really alive.
I hate that people often tell me that I never smile, I hate it, I do not call myself a sunny person, but I love life, and if I'm not smiling, it means that you are not be able to make me laugh perhaps.
I consider myself a rather thoughtful and rational, I analyzed and repeatedly discovered myself and I love doing it every day, I think the best thing to live well and achieve inner peace is to know themselves. For this reason, I am always looking for something, and I'm sure I can find it in travel, meeting people, cultures and worlds different from mine.
I am an open minded, peaceful person and I cannot stand the prejudices. I love real people and hate the society and the influence it has on us, conventions, rules, this homogeneity and this all be the same, never to stand out from the crowd.
I am a dreamer, a little rebellious perhaps, but I think we all must be, at bottom, when we were kids, we were all dreamers, there were those who wanted to become an astronaut, who doctor, who princess and then, then there was me, I wanted to be a fisherman! That's right, a little girl who wanted to be a fisherman Leaving aside this dream and the story of the fisherman, I wonder what happened to those dreams, those children, those eyes full of joy. Why settle for the same old routine? Why become normal people? At this point I can tell you that I'm following my dream, not to become a fisherman, but to travel, travel whenever I can, discover the world, continue to discover myself and learn something from everyone I meet.
For this reason, I joined Couchsurfing, because it is the best way to meet people who have the same passion.

Another of my great passions is the BEER, this has opened me up a world, but I'll tell you about this with my friend, travel mate, who has the same love.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I feel bored of visiting a place as a tourist and Couchsurfing is the best option to see everything different, like a local.
You can really touch with your hands a culture with its food, its history, its language and its legends.

Interests

I really love nature, I like to go camping on the hills, singing and drinking all night.
I like philosophy, literature and music, the mix between them is awesome.
I felt in love with kids, they're so beautiful, happy, spontaneous and free. That's what I loved most: their freedom, my freedom, my free spirit that makes me feel like a child.
I grew up in a small village in front of the sea, so I'm totally obsessed about it, I could never live without the sea; but I also enjoy mountains and lakes.
I already told you about beer, I wish I could try a beer in each place I visit; I also like to drink wine, especially white one, while I eat.
I love psychology and sociology, I'm studying social work and this comes very close to the sense of altruism, because one day I hope I can help someone in need and fight for the rights of people, especially for kids and women.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd like to learn as much as possible, I'd love to play some watersports, I would be grateful if you could teach me some tricks. I always try to find the best highest point of the city to see everything from above, so please take me there, if you can! I can teach you a few Italian words and I can cook for you a proper Italian pasta. I know how to make very nice cocktails and I'm very good in making chocolate's liquor and cakes.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share good chats, beer and meals. I like small and easy things, like drinking a beer on the beach, watching the moon and the stairs or have the change to see the sunrise or the sunset.
