One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Less than 3 weeks after moving to a foreign country after having never left my home state in the US I was in a nasty motorbike accident. Due to complications from infection just 2 weeks later I was having major emergency surgery on my knee in an Indonesian hospital. Made it through, recovered like a champ, and stuck out the adventure even though going home and curling up in my Mommy's lap sounded like a REALLY good option at times.
