Overview
About Me
I'm an adventurous en environmentally conscious Dutchie enjoying the good life. I like the outdoors, good food, having friends over, films, music, going out, sports and traveling. I run (sometimes competitions), swim, ride horses, kite surf, and play and teach acro yoga. I'm an occupational health psychologist.
CURRENT MISSION
Enjoying life to the fullest.
Also, i've decided to live as low impact as possible. My latest mission is to adopt the Zero Waste Lifestyle, meaning: Refuse, reduce, reuse, recycle and rot (compost). One of my main challenges is to eradicate plastic from my life. Up to now i'm doing a great job:). I've also been a long time (19yrs) vegetarian.
When you come to my house please try to respect and open up to my choice of lifestyle:)
PHILOSOPHY
"There are no strangers, only friends you have never met."
and
"We are born with nothing and will leave with nothing. Nobody owns the earth. We are all here to share as much as we can, not defend what we think is ours."
PLEASE NOTE:
If you only want a free place to stay, with no intention to truly interact and share (i.e. looking for a room and needing some place temporary, or here for work or studies), or when you are only looking for a date, please don't request to stay at my place! I love the pure joy of hosting the way couchsurfing was intended.
