About Me

Hello everyone ✨ I am a travel sick person! After finishing university I have started travelling and have had the opportunity to live in 6 different countries and visit 28.
I am just back from a 7-month tour of South America, visiting almost all Spanish-speaking countries.

My travelling companion is Filippo, my plushie friend :)

I like to travel alone to get more in touch with the local people and to lose myself in the narrow streets of the cities.

I am a sunny girl full of energy.
I'm sporty and I like to try a bit of everything (both sports and food).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting new people and I like the way this program allows it.
I like to listen to people and learn from their stories!

Interests

I love dancing salsa and I have recently started Dancehall.

I like swimming, hiking and camping.

I like the sea, the sun, and beach volleyball.

I like to guess people's nationalities by seeing them pass me, and imagine their lives.

I really love learning new languages!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love reggaeton (I know, lyrics are not good but I enjoy the rhythm), cumbia and merengue.

I often hear music in Spanish. Some of my favourite singers/groups are Colectivo Panamera, El Kanka, Mr Kilombo and Cultura Profética.

I am not much of a cinema person, I often stick to comedies but then it depends a lot on my mood.
I really love cartoons!

I enjoy reading books by travellers and learning about new places through the adventures of others, but my favourite book is still Never ending story by Michael Ende.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- Booking a random fly to Glasgow without knowing anything about the city, and spent 8 months living there.
- Work and live in a hostel for more than one month.
- Slept in a forest with a tent in the middle of nature.
- Skydiving and Bungee jumping.
- 5 months' experience in Mexico as a university teacher.
- 7-month solo trip.
- Seeing the Perito Moreno.
- Hitchhiking across the Argentina-Chile border.
- Hiking in the Atacama Desert and crossing the Uyuni Salar.
- Celebrating the Aymara year.
- Fishing piranhas and eating them.
- Perform a ritual to offer gifts to the Pachamama.
- Sleep in a refuge in the Amazon.
- Eat crickets and worms.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach Italian, Spanish and Portuguese.

In return I would be very happy to learn some new recipes from around the world.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Long chats and also a good dish of carbonara
