About Me

Hello I'm Elisa. My first experience aboard was back to '09 when I spent some weeks in summer school, in Oxford. Unfortunately my English did not get better but after some years and many tests, I flew to Portugal, I studied in Porto and I fall in love with everything around this country, language, culture, landscapes, people and food. When I came back in my home city, I was truly feeling saudade and I booked my return tickets, this time for Lisbon. During that period I improved my Portuguese, I worked for an international student organisation and I wrote my dissertation. I graduated in Political sciences and after two months I started a new experience as a volunteer in Turkey. I had the chance to discover such a wonderful country all around thanks to people who host me. Turkey has been my home for more than one year and I am more than grateful with.
On the same time I love my home town, Cagliari, a small sunny city in the south of mediterranean sea. I always try to proudly carry a little piece of Sardinia with me, to show its beauty to every person I meet during my journey.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am very easy going and super curious in discovering new places, people, tastes and different points of view. I think that couchsurfing is the better way to understand the soul of a place.

Interests

One of my favourite hobbies is stay by the sea, I believed that it can influence our life perspective. I would like to spend life in bucolic style, reading books, taking care of animals, cooking and traveling, even if at one point I should start to look for a real job . I like history and I feel '69 generation. I love the artistic side of life, even if I'm a hopeless.
