ABOUT ME

My faith sustains me. Without my God, I am nothing.

I love the rush of a long skirt trailing my spin, the smell of hot coffee in the morning, unadulterated by sweetness or whitened with milk, the release of tears into a good friend's shoulder, the sound of sweet harmonies in the living room, and lingering in the final moments of a great book or film.

I love moments, and capturing them. I seek to love well, the agape love that doesn't expect anything in return. And I long to be present in every moment.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy authenticity in art. I'm drawn to particular genres, but I don't want to be limited by them. My favorite film is La Vita e Bella, my favorite music is live, and my favorite book is often the one I've just read.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Anything "amazing" about my life has to first be attributed to God's faithfulness, provision, and favor, because I know that in myself, I'm less than stellar. But because you asked, here are a couple comical situation's I've found myself in:

I've got a closeup in the film "Secretariat" starring Diane Lane for about 1.5 seconds. I was in Vancouver when Canada beat US in hockey at the 2010 Winter Olympics and the streets shut down. I've been nearly trampled by crowds in Madrid's Plaza del Sol on New Year's Eve. I helped seat guests at the AFI Life Achievement Awards for Morgan Freeman.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have quite a bit of technical knowledge to share, tips on photo and video editing, and various software. I knit, play flute, and bake. I'd love to learn more about nutrition, pilates and pottery.
