ABOUT ME

I was teaching for many years in Korea and finally decided to travel. I went to many countries in Asia and the highlight was always all the beautiful, amazing and generous people i met. It made me believe in the human spirit again. I am currently exploring Australia and hope to meet many more people and have more experiences to enrich my life and hopefully others. I am from America and my heart is in the ARIZONA desert. I am laid back and enjoy learning about new cultures, meeting new people and eating new delicious food.

one day at a time. Respect all cultures. Enjoy every day and every special person you meet. You can always learn from every experience, even the bad ones. There is always something to be thankful for.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I don't have a house to host but someday I will host people when I have a space. I just try to be as kind and objective as possible, and always try to see from someone elses perspective.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've met other couch surfers but never housed any! I look forward to the experience. I have stayed with multiple hosts either on the site or just random kind people who have offered their space, and I find it truly kind and amazing.

In addition - I enjoy languages, food, lakes, spontaneous adventures, snorkeling, South Africans, fried , APS, shisha, Arabic music, m&m's, noodles, coffee shops, studying, reading, learning, dancing, markets, dogs, random chats, naps, grass, parks, dreams and feeling the spice of life. I recently got my open water PADI and look forward to moving up in my diving.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I can enjoy all kinds of music, movies and books.I love bluegrass music and dance music. I learned to rock to house music on the beaches of thailand. I love non fiction books the most, and heroic war stories. As for movies... Some of my faves are slumdog millionaire, silver linings playbook, Wet Hot American Summer, Titanic, Wedding Crashers and Field of Dreams. I enjoy documentaries on a daily basis.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

the most beautiful place I have ever been is in the heart of Bavaria in Germany. Or maybe the white beaches in cambodia. Or the clear waters of thailand.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I play guitar, take photos, know a little Spanish and Korean, I have a degree in Chemistry and Nutrition, and I love studying languages. Maybe I can teach you a little Korean or Spanish or a few chords on the guitar if you want to learn. I can share my experiences as a traveler, teacher and fellow human spirit.
