ABOUT ME

I'm Eli, a 25 years old girl from Norway. I am currently living and working in Oslo. After completing my MSc degree in June 2008, I decided to spend one year travelling and sutdying abroad. During that year, I learned Spanish in Argentina and did an internship in Shanghai combined with studies in entrepreneurship. Both were wonderful experiences.

I got hooked on travelling during my studies in Trondheim when I was a member of BEST (Board of European Students of Technology). BEST is a European student organisation. My involvement in BEST gave me the opportunity to travel around Europe and to show other students Norway.

I love to spend time with my family and friends (new and old ones), sharing a good meal or going out. I like going to cafés, bars and discos as well as the cinema and concerts. When I end up on the dance floor, I tend stay until the morning! However, I also enjoy spending an evening reading a good book.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Several of my friends have spoken warmly about CouchSurfing and introduced me to the concept. Through the student organisation BEST stayed in other members' homes and been shown around in their cities. I believe this is similar to a CouchSurfing Experience. It's a fantastic way to get to know another culture, create memories and friendship for life.
