Hello ! My name is Elise, I'm 23.

I love books, going to the theatre and watching movies and series under a blanket in the winter. I love having a drink with my friends on a terrace café and spending time outdoors (biking, swimming, hiking) in the summer.

I enjoy strolling around in an unknown city and meeting people randomly. Tasting new food and discovering new places.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've had a great experience with WWOOFING and it motivated me to try out couchsurfing.
Even though I'm really new here my wwoofing experience has convinced me that staying with locals is a great way to meet new people and discover a country.
I also know how important it is to adapt oneself to the rules and atmosphere of a house and that it is part of the deal.

Interests

I love English and American litterature, mostly modernist and postmodernist authors ( from Virginia Woolf to Toni Morrison, but also Don Delillo, Jonathan Sfoar), but also more classic authors from all cultures.

Thrilling TV shows (Game of Thrones, Peaky Blinders, American Horror Story)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- Hiking to the top of my favorite mountain in Spain, near my grandparents' place the day my nephew was born ! (it was a small mountain but a great day!).

- Crossing over Canada from East to West in a 4 day trip by train. The views were just amazing !!
