I am a 24 years old Norwegian girl who loves traveling and meeting new people. I am from a really small city in Norway, called Kragerø, which only has 12 000 citizens. But usually I live in Trondheim, where I am studying to become a teacher. This year I have been studying abroad, in Monterey Bay, California, which is the reason why I am making this account.

Otherwise I believe I am a happy, friendly, and outgoing person. I like being active and I love the nature, as well as the citylife. I do not smoke.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Me and my friend, Helga has been living in Monterey Bay since January, 2015. Now we are travelling for three weeks and our wallets are starting to get empty. We woud like to see more of California, just hang at the beach and learn how to surf!
We also have met many great Americans and would like to get to know some more:)

Interests

I like basically all sports that do not include a ball: Hiking, skiing, snowboarding, climbing, different watersports, yoga etc.
I also love being on boats and close to the sea.
The citylife and its cafès, concerts etc. is also really nice!
I love cooking and I am into wine and beer. Tasting is fun!
I am easily amused and are up to most adventures:)

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite music genres are folk, indie, rock (it is really hard to choose!!). I mainly like most types of music, it all depends on the mood.
My favorite movie at this moment is The Intouchables.
When it comes to books, I like crime but also old classics. I am reading Gert Nygaardshaug at this moment.
