My name is Elise, a 20 year old girl from the best city in the whole wide world: Amsterdam! I've been living here, because my previous location was too far away from the University. I am living with 13 roommates, so sadly enough, there is not enough space for a couchsurfer over here! My room itself is 12m2. I have 2 goldfish that I love very very much. They go by the names of Elfish (named after the greatest popstar ever!) and Poes (which means kitten in Dutch). I enjoy going to festivals and exploring my country. I also love seeing the world. In my photoalbum, I have a small collection of the places I've been too. I truely believe that you should collect memories and not things. I love to meet new people, see new places, share interests and cultures.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

This summer (summer of 2016) I am going to travel for 2 months. I am planning of seeing the South-East of Europe. First stop:Instabul! I am doing this together with my best friend from Amsterdam. Her name is Sanne, also 19 years old. She is studying psychology, so I get to learn a lot from here! We've been friends since we were 4 years old. Almost every summer I have been to special places with here, but this year we want to take it to the next level! Really hope you some of you can help us out. Be aware! We love to have drinks and chat, but like our privacy when surfing!

Is there anybody on earth that does not like Sam Smith?!
Besides Sam Smith, I love listening to Bob Marley and the whole reggae scene.
I love to watch thrillers and crimes. My favorite shows would be Flashpoint, The Killing (american version), Suits, Breaking Bad and last but not least How to get away with murder.
When I get tired of watching my crime series, I go on to my favorite crime books. Most of them are in Dutch, but my favorite non-Dutch book would be 'the girl with the dragon tattoo'.
