I am currently working as an emergency room nurse in Portland, OR. I am a very curious person and I have such a sense of urgency to see the world, which is why I love to travel! I love to try new things and go places I’ve never been, but what I most love about traveling is meeting new people! I think basically anything and anyone is interesting and it just feels like such a crime to not explore this beautiful world we live in.

I joined Couchsurfing because of the amazing community. I love that this platform connects people who genuinely want to share their homes and lives with other people and who believe in travel as an important pursuit. I really believe the best part of traveling is meeting the people who live in the place you’re visiting!

Interests

I love to go hiking, camping, kayaking and paddle boarding in the summer and snowshoeing in the winter (anything outdoors really). I also love gardening, cooking and baking, reading books, playing piano, painting and I’ve recently gotten into pottery!

I would love to learn about whatever you are passionate about! There’s not much that doesn’t interest me. I really love to bake bread, so I will teach anyone who listens about that :) but I also love to cook (my family is from Lebanon so I would love to teach some Lebanese recipes)!
