Hi, my name is Elise, i am a 27 year old History teacher. I have just bought my own house with my fiance Tom, who will be couching surfing with me. He works with children with Autism. We both love History ( hence my job!) we love music, movies, food, oh and more food, we love a good country pub, and a glass of wine and a gossip, oh and also if you have pets, -I love all animals apart from reptiles! I have my very own cat, called wellington who is a big furry thing, that we both adore!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We are couch surfing mainly as with little funds but with big travelling aspirations couch surfing sounded a great to do it! Also its a good way to get to know a country from a native's perspective too and meet awesome people, some of my friends have done couch surfing and they have said how they have made long lasting friendships out of it. A great way to connect people from different countries and cultures i think.
