Why I’m on Couchsurfing

my friend sam and i took a gap year before going to university
our goal for this "year off" is to have as many diverse experiences as possible, discover as many new cultures and landscapes as possible but above all to share and meet lots of new people : bring to others all that we can bring but also learning from them all they have to teach us.
we’ve already spent 2 months in Africa volunteering in a rehabilitation center for baboons, in a children orphanage, in a school and in fields and then 1 month in sydney doing a bartender course.
now we are in australia for 1 more month and we want to use this time to see and experience as much things as possible.
that’s why couchsurfing seemed like a very good option… :)

Music, Movies, and Books

i’m a bit of an indecisive person, i kinda like all types of music, depending on my moods, but i think i particularly like old songs.
it’s also the same for the moovies : i like comic films as much as action, fantasy, detective or even romantic films ; once again it depends on the moment haha 😅
for the books it’s also quite the same, i like reading lots of different types : i really like neuroscience books but I also like fantasy books and all other types :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

once again i can’t choose one 😅 but i think the most extraordinary adventures i have experienced were swimming with sharks and dolphins, taking care of a baby baboon and seeing an orphan child once terrorized by me trusting me little by little until he took my hand while sleeping
