I am a happy, free and extroverted girl who is happiest when surrounded by positive energy. I am passionate about learning and sharing experiences, whether that be about traveling, life, or love, I enjoy it all! I am always open to spontaneous experiences, which is why I love couch surfing so much.

Short version travel story:

I have a been traveling my whole life, but more extensively as a backpacker for the past 5 years. I lived in Thailand for 2 years, teaching kindergarten, and later in Vietnam for a couple of months. I spent one year backpacking around South East Asia, and when funds started to run low, I headed to Australia for a year, bar tending and waitressing to save money for my current trip through Central and South America.

Por que estou no Couchsurfing?

My roommates in Chiang Mai (Thailand) introduced me to couchsurfing in 2011. We hosted over 30 people, making great memories and lasting friendships. (All of our reviews are on my roommate's page: Will Hardy).

I've couchsurfed in Brunei, East Timor, Australia, Belgium and Mexico.

What interests me most about couch surfing is getting to know a country through a local's perspective. I also love discovering the best places to go to that may be off the "tourist track". Most of all, just sharing the experience of being with another open human being who has common interests, and realizing that this connection has no cultural or geographical boundaries.

Interesses

Meeting people and sharing experiences. Yoga, dancing, swinging in a hammock, scuba diving, watching sunsets, hiking, being crazy and weird!

Ooo... hard one! I hate to be one of those people that says "I love every kind of music", but seriously, I do, what I choose to listen to may just depend on my mood at that time.
