Hi there!
My name is Elise and I'm from Québec City. Since I can remember, I always loved to travel. When I was younger, my parents used to take my sister and I on epic trips around the world and now that I'm older, I try to keep this tradition going on my own :)

I am currently studying in Montreal in Communication Studies. I enjoy it so far, but I still need to escape from time to time!

I am a really creative person and I love to try new things. Traveling is a way to get some great experiences and meet wonderful people all over the world!!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to meet new people in the countries I'll be visiting. It's the best way to learn about a city and to make new friends all around the world! I believe everyone I meet knows something I don't.

Interests

I'm interested in many things (I think many people are!). I LOVE cinema, I studied it in school for 2 years before taking a gap year and moving to Montreal. I truly believe I am a good cook, I really enjoy cooking and trying new recipes. Traveling is definitely my passion, I try to do it as often as I can.

Music, Movies, and Books

So many! A few years ago, I worked full time in a bakery and since there wasn't much to do, I think I read about 45 novels in three months. And I absolutely LOVED ''Pillars of the Earth'' (please don't watch the TV show it sucks compared to the book) and ''A Fine Balance'' which is probably the novel that had the most impact on me. I'm still having chills when I think about it and it's been a few years...
