About Me
I'm living in Kuala Lumpur
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Exchange culture and I get the chance to visit countries that I have never been, so I hope that you'll check my the rules before you send a request for host.
My location is in Old Klang Road, which is about 20-30mins away from the centre of KL or PJ by car. It's close to mid Valley Megamall and there are bus or train stations nearby. The nearest LRT station is Muhibbah. You would need to walk about 10-15 mins to my house or RM3 by grab or uber service from the station. The condominium where I stay is a business/commercial residence area. There are many different types of restaurants surrounding the location. There are more than 10 groceries and market downstairs, where you can get a variety of fresh meals, groceries and almost anything within 5mins walk.
My rules and conditions are as follows:
1) When I'm not around, it's not convinient for you to be alone at home. I can drop you at the train/bus (RM2-3 by train or bus)station nearby if needed and if I go out. An alternative would be to get an uber or grab service(RM10-15).Wifi is free to access in my house.
Another thing is my work is flexible and I don't really need to go out early everyday. Most of the time I work from home, so if I have a day off I could definitely show you around the city or hangout. However, i ask that you pay the petrol and toll fees if we are going a long distance. Alternative, if you can treat me to a coffee or meal which would only be cheap street food and nothing too expensive. This would be very much appreciated.
As I mentioned earlier, my wish in CS is to exchange culture, ideas and maybe even making new friends...but as you I'm sure you understand, i'm not a charity organisation so i believe money for tolls and petrol isn't asking for too much 😉
2) Guests will be staying their own room, but sharing a bathroom. Simple toiletries will be provided, so you will need only to prepare your own extras and towels. I obviously expect you maintain cleanliness for the toilet. All i ask for you to clean is your room before you leave. You will need to take the blanket and bed sheets to the laundry shop downstairs below my apartment. This would cost you around RM6 -12 which includes the washing powder and softener (you can do laundry there as well if you need to)
3) You are free to use the kitchen and take the food/drinks you need. However, i ask that everything is kept clean and the things you take are replaced from one of the many stores situated in the area. I hate doing housework and doing a lot of grocery shopping, so put yourself in my position and imagine guests coming every week. If kept buying all the groceries for everyone and cleaning the bedsheets on my own, I would be broke...so just please be fair to me 🙂
But of course, if I make breakfast or dinner I'll make extra for you and it's free ;) I would also love to try new food you would like to introduce me to from your culture!
Enjoy your trip!
PS: Well, there are little optional requests from me if it's possible. 1st I like collecting Starbucks tumblers from different countries. If you can bring one for me I'll be so happy,(but if I already have them then you don't need to bring it). The 2nd thing is that I love collecting fridge magnets too, any fridge magnets from your country would be appreciated and I would be so thankful 😍
