Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My best friend Camille and I traveled from Austin, TX to Providence, RI through couchsurfing last summer. It was amazing, and we wish we were still on the road. The hosts we had were one in all refreshing and lovely humans. We reached our destination and hosted a few great folks. Now I am travelling again, this time in Montreal and Italy!

Music, Movies, and Books

the last two books I read were Siddhartha by Herman Hesse and Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas by Hunter S. Thompson. I love the poet Mark Doty.

I function best when there's music playing, and I can listen to city music or rural music but the acts at the top of my list include: The Harlem Shakes, Deertick, Why? Wolf Parade, Dawes......Grizzly Bear, Ugly Casanova, Alexander Ebert..........CCR, Patty Griffin, Willie Nelson, Joe Ely, Carol King....Bedouin Soundclash, Bob Marley, Cat Stevens and the list goes on and on!
