ABOUT ME

Currently taking a break from 'real life' and doing what so many Aussies do - living in London. I'm trying to make the most of being over this side of the world by seeing as many places as I can...

Probably my two favourite things to do are eating and music - listening to music, seeing live bands, trying to play music (I can't actually really play anything!). I'm still learning things about myself as I get older and do wonder if I'll ever really know all there is to know... I have many questions about life... I'm a pretty independent soul... I'm often shy in big groups but not the case in one on one situations and when i'm with people I know well... I question my abilities too much... I hope to be a school counsellor in the not too distant future... I like to party but not all the time... I admire many things in many people...

PHILOSOPHY

Still a work in progress I think... But I believe it's importants to learn new things everyday.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So far I'm just surfing other people's couches. I plan to host when I get back to Brisbane (whenever that may be!). I live with 9 other people in London and our couch is often already occupied with visiting friends...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've stayed with a few people along the way so far and it's been great! The generosity of people involved in couchsurfing continues to blow me away. It's comforting to know that such great people are out there! I really hope many of the people that I've couchsurfed with will come visit in Australia!

I love loads of music from what i think is a pretty broad range. I love many Australian artists but am really keen to get to know more international acts along our way. I love to hear other people´s favourite music! I love Powderfinger, PJ Harvey, The Eels, Gotye, Simon and Garfunkel, The Panics, Air, The Music, John Butler Trio, The Cat Empire, Jeff Buckley, Vampire Weekend, Muse, Lior, Radiohead, Garbage, Decoder Ring, Augie March, Michael Franti, MGMT, plus heaps more!

Some of my favourite movies are: Reality Bites, Into the Wild, Juno, Empire Records, Moulin Rouge, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory...
