ABOUT ME

I am a mom, who has decided to homeshool and travel with my wonderful 10 year old son. Originally from Brooklyn, Ny, we have lived mainly in San Francisco, Hawaii, and Berlin. My occupaitons have been, filmmaker, anthropologist, journalist, artist and writer, not necessarily in that order. Julian is a curious learner as well as an agile athlete. He was performing with Hawaii's Hiccup Circus this past year. Hope we can "talk story" one evening.

My interests are seeing how other cultures live, and why. Enjoying the fruits of life, listening to people, music and the sounds within silences. I also have a strong practice and interest in the arts, as well as giving back to the communities I live in. We love to read and make up stories and giggle.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Amazing things I have done: You asked... I usually tell no one.
I used to Rock climb by staying with Search and Rescue in Yosemite. I have interviewed presidents. I won an Emmy, but the pool party afterwards was just as good. ;) I've been caught in a biblical flood, alone in Waimanu valley for a week, lived on peanut butter and caught river prawns until I could hike out. I had a baby at 42 after many tries. I've climbed Stromboli once a decade. I'm still alive, and book 2 of this adventure we call life is now being written.
