About Me

ABOUT ME
About to commence the van life around Australia. Just finished a snow season in Aus as a snow photographer while enjoying the snowboarding. Haven't done loads of travelling overseas, but I like to travel through life and try to see any place with new eyes. That is why I enjoy trying new things and love hiking, sea kayaking, and finding new things to see or do even in my own area. My friends would say that I'm compassionate, giving, a bit unorganised, genuinely interested in others, and outgoing. I like to think that I'm fun to be around!

Interests

I'm very passionate about environmental and social justice issues, and if I worked and studied less I would volunteer more.
I love the outdoors. I took a year off from studying last year to pursue my love of sea kayaking. I love the ocean and sharks and soon I will be doing my open water diving course! I'm a feminist. I love cooking for others, gardening and baking.
I enjoy singing and playing around with various instruments but more practice is needed - same with my drawing skills!
I'm a qualified Geography and Physical Education teacher, and I'm passionate about education and getting people thinking!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have seen my friend get knocked out of his kayak right in front of me by a Great White. That was pretty intense, but he's ok, and we both still love Sharks and Kayaking!
I have competed at the Australian Rowing Nationals where my crew won a silver medal in the women's U19 four.
I have Spent a week at an Australian 'clothing optional' summer festival and danced my mud-covered nude body around a fire with hundreds of friendly strangers, and I've never felt so safe and happy and content in my life.
