Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Abolishing gender roles, learning guitar, reaching an adaptative nirvana.
ABOUT ME
I'm spontaneous and apt to make decisions rather arbitrarily. I'm an on and off vegetarian, usually derailed by hot dogs. I work as a community educator around issues of personal finance, energy consumption and healthcare access. My research interests lie at the intersection of gender, labor, and healthcare policy. As a social worker, I'm very interested in human and social behavior theories.
PHILOSOPHY
I am a human being; nothing human can be alien to me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have hosted/traveled with over 40 CSers and I have loved every minute! Right now I can host less often because the apt is so small, but am happy to meet up for a drink or give recommendations! Atlanta is my hometown, but I was in NY for 6 years so I am also rediscovering the area. I'm also looking for more CSers to stay with while I'm traveling--tea parties and local beer greatly appreciated!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Plenty of random un-official couch surfings and hostings. Through the project I have met countless friends and it is always a great way to explore new places. I've also been fortunate enough to host lots of people. Always looking for random last minute trips, so say yes!
Interests
road trips; cooperation; polaroid cameras; pillow forts; half birthdays; philosophy; political discourse (healthy of course); feminism; authentic tacos!; egalitarianism; good beer; gardening; tattoos; sustainability; obscurities and do-hickeys

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Isn't it all just a little amazing? I'm easily entranced by the world around me. One day, on my way to work in India in an auto-rickshaw, I saw three men, two small and one very large riding around on a small moped. I thought that was amazing.
The sun rising over McLeod Ganj at the base of the Himalayas wasn't so bad either.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'd like to learn whatever you know about silly phrases in random languages, songs on guitar/mandolin/banjo/piano, writing in Hindi, GTA cheats, yoga, ballet, and history.
If you get the hiccups, I will teach you how to cure them.
