About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To be the best version of myself.
ABOUT ME
I'm an Aussie who has recently made the move to New York to live my version of the "American Dream" without the 2.5 kids, the white picket fence or the immaculate manicured lawn. I absolutely love the outdoors - give me a mountain to hike, a tree to hug, or a glacial lake and I'll be there with bells on. I also love traveling to new and foreign lands and experiencing different cultures.
Other things I enjoy include disappearing into a good book, tennis, music and intellectual conversations about politics, life and the future.
Although I may seem quite reserved at first, if you spend enough time with me you'll come to realise that I have a serious pottymouth. I try to tone it down, but sometimes it just comes out like word vomit. If this offends you then, sorry, we may not be able to be friends.
I love dogs.
PHILOSOPHY
I never paint dreams or nightmares. I paint my own reality.
-Frida Kahlo
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've met some truly lovely people at CS meetups and have been hosted by some wonderful, hospitable people. Although I'm not as active as others within the community, I always have an enjoyable time with CSers!
Interests
Traveling. Nature. Hiking. Sitting in the wilderness listening to the sounds of nature. Reading. Listening and dancing/flailing awkwardly to music. Food. Experiencing, seeing and trying new things (I'm always open to new experiences!). Lying in the sun. Driving. Politics. Psychology. Theatre. Dogs. Dogs. DOGS.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Michael Buble, Muse, Sam Smith, OneRepublic, Queen, The Beatles, Elton John, Al Green (pretty much anything that's not country, heavy metal, punk rock or rap).
Movies: Anything with a good plot, moral or take-home-message. Anything that's a good mind-fuck. Anything with ambiguous/vague endings that make you frustrated and make you discuss with whomever what the fuck just happened.
Also, scare-your-pants off horror movies are good on occasion.
Books: I read mostly everything, really. It's hard to pin-point a favourite.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Sky diving - amazing views, amazing feelings. Also, similarly, bungee jumping in New Zealand.
