ABOUT ME

23- years old, blonde, cheeky, naturally curious. An English language student from the Czech Republic. A fan of good beer, music, sunsets over the Thames, Norwegian authors and Gene Kelly's moves. I've lived in London for a couple of months and that have strenghten my desire to explore the world on my own. I'm very open-minded and when I do something, I give my all into that. Meeting new people and learning about different cultures enriches me in the best possible way and I hope I'll keep on going with that as long as I can!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've only couch surfed four times so far (Madrid, Edinburgh, Berlin and Budapest) and the overall expericence was great. I love meeting new people and what's the best way to know the most about the actual place and people that live there?

Interests

Spending time with my family, skiing in Italy, finding the most hidden and gorgeous cafés in London, finishing the most thrilling book without sleeping for a few days in row, enjoying movies while alone at the cinema, screaming my lungs out at my favourite band's show, travelling basicaly anywhere in the world. And many more.

Music, Movies, and Books

If I had to write down all my favourite movies, books and bands/singers etc., I'd probably spent the next couple of weeks doing that. It's kind of an eclectic variety and sometimes even weird mixture of stuff. Anyway, very briefly - I'm passionate about Scandinavian authors, detective stories or thrillers in general. As for the music, it ranges from American folk through British indie rock to Swedish pop. Movies? Le Fabuleux Destin d’Amélie Poulain, anything by David Fincher, 50's musicals and the new Batman trilogy. A massive fan of Britcoms as well.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've recently skydived in the Czech Republic - it was the craziest and the most adventurous thing I've done so far! I can't wait to skydive again in the near future.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you some basics of Czech language and I can teach you how to cook some of the traditional (and easy) Czech dishes, if you'd like to.
